Leave No Trace
The Conservation / Outdoor Ethics Sub-Comm. supports the Council and Camping Comm. as the Environmental voice in regards to our Camp properties. We write the Conservation management Plans, assist with Conservation Based Service project planning/ implementation (for Units and Ranks/ Eagle), and oversee the Distinguished Conservation Service Award for Scouts and Scouters. In the World of Outdoor Ethics, we oversee the implementation of the Leave No Trace program throughout our camps and activities. This includes oversite on the Outdoor Ethics Awards, advancement guidance and Training of Youth Outdoor Ethics Guides, Unit Leader LNT Orientation, LNT Trainers and LNT Master Educators.
