THE GNYC STEM SUB-COMMITTEE INVITES YOU TO JOIN US FOR “SPRING BREAK STEM CAMP”
During Spring Break, Scouts can keep their brains in high gear and possibly earn one of the NOVA Awards as well as Merit Badges.
LIMITED TO ONLY 40 PARTICIPANTS FROM SCOUTS BSA – AGES 13-18
This year’s theme: PIONEERING and ENGINEERING!
Join our camp staff and a whole cadre of outside professionals to introduce Scouts to a variety of sciences.
Previous presenters included: The Lamont Dougherty Earth Observatory, The New Jersey Civil Air Patrol, The New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit, Picoturbine, Ber-gen County Crime Lab, Kings County Repeaters, Sterling Hills Mines and Amateur Astronomers!
THE COMMITTEE IS VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS YEARS LINE-UP AND WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
Topics in Formation (subject to change) – Let it Grow, Start Your Engines, “Whoosh”, Designed to Crunch and likely these Merit Badges: Gardening, Farm Mechanics, Archery, Pioneering, Weather and Astronomy
