Spring Break STEM Camp
The GNYC STEM Subcommittee welcome you to Spring Break STEM Camp!
This year’s theme is Forensics, to include various aspects of forensic technology and science.
This camp is open to the first 40 youth that apply! Space is limited, so don’t hesitate.
During the week, Scouts (ages 13 to 18) will find themselves immersed in real world applications and have the opportunity to earn a NOVA award. Guest presenters will include those directly working in forensic fields. Past presenters have come from Lamont Dougherty Earth Observatory, NJ Civil Air Patrol, NJ State Police Aviation, Amateur Astronomers, Kings Country Re-peaters, Sterling Hills Mines, and more.
Camp begins at 12PM on Monday, April 18, 2022, for check-in, and ends at 1 0am on Saturday, April 23rd with graduation. Meals and lodging provided. Scouts need to bring bedding/pillow, toiletries, towel, personal items, a notebook, pens/pencils, and pack a hungry appetite for learning.
