
Citizenship in Society at the Met Museum

Two GNYC approved Merit Badge Counselors, Demetra Sinopoulos (Brooklyn Troop 715) and Antonio del Rosario (Council Diversity Chair and Board Member), will be leading this event.
Earn the Citizenship in Society Merit Badge, which will soon be Eagle-required, by attending this event at the Met Museum on April 3, 2022 at 2pm when tickets will be distributed. This is a free event for GNYC scouts. Please be prompt as no latecomers will be admitted. Please wear your Class A uniform. You will be dismissed by 4pm.
The exhibit we will be exploring at the Met Museum is “Before Yesterday We Could Fly: An Afrofuturist Exhibit Room”. Space is limited and registration will close by March 30th. You must be approved by your Scoutmaster to take this merit badge and you must have completed at least one Eagle-required merit badge prior to this event. Bring your blue card and meet us at the Met Museum’s membership entrance at 81st and Fifth Avenue (1000 5th Ave, New York, NY 10028). Text or call Mr. del Rosario 917-680-3382 if you get lost.
