What to Take to Camp

The following is a list of clothing and other items that Scouts will need to take to camp. All items (clothing, towels, etc.) should be labeled with the Scout's name. While in camp, the scouts will be sleeping on cots. It is important that your child brings with him a sleeping bag or 2 warm blankets.  

  • Bug Repellent (recommended)
  • Boots (Highly recommended)
  • Sun Block (recommended)
  • Socks: 1 Pair per day +2
  • Flashlight + batteries
  • Underwear: 1 per day +1
  • Rain Poncho
  • Lotion
  • Book Bag
  • Swimming Trunks
  • Sleeping bag or 2-3 Blankets
  • Soap in a plastic container
  • Laundry bag
  • Shampoo
  • Baby Wipes
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Warm weather jacket
  • Comb and brush
  • Jeans or long pants
  • T-shirts 1 per day
  • Any Prescribed Medicine
  • Class A Uniform (Required for dinner)
  • 2 Towels (1 Pool/Lake, 1 Bath per week)
  • Cub or Boy Scout Handbook
  • Sneakers
  • Sleeping mat/cushion (optional)

 

ALL ELECTRONICS SUCH AS GAME BOYS, PSP'S, IPODS,  IPADS, COMPUTERS, CELL PHONES, ETC. ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS!!!
