The objectives of the Board of Directors are to lead the Council in achieving finance goals, to cultivate relationships for a sustainable & growing Board of Directors, and to raise Scouting’s visibility in the borough. Members include business and community leaders from throughout Brooklyn and New York City.

Volunteer – District Volunteerism
Our District Committees are responsible for developing borough-wide programs for our Scouts and local volunteers. Opportunities to serve include- Activities, Advancement, Camping, Commissioner Service, Membership, and Training Committees.

Volunteer – Unit-Level Volunteerism
Scouting starts at the Unit-level. Our Packs, Troops, and Crews serve the Scouts in each community with weekly programming and monthly excursions, providing volunteer role-models who work directly with our youth members as they advance through the Scouting Program.
