Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills is a hands-on training

Program to give adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the outdoors.  Imagine having hands-on knowledge about setting up a campsite, pitching a tent, hiking, outdoor cooking—all the skills necessary to see the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts of America come to life.

Course Fee: $10.00

Course requires attendance on both the Skills Day and Course Weekend

ITOLS Skills Day:

Saturday, May 18, 2019 – 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Resurrection R.C. Church, Brooklyn, NY – Scout Room (entrance on Whitney Avenue, between Gerritsen Avenue & Stuart Street)

Skills Day will include: Patrol selection, meal planning, etc… (please bring a copy of your proof of Hazardous Weather Training as well as Scoutmaster Specific Training {if taken} with you to Skills Day).

 

ITOLS Course Weekend:

Saturday, June 8, 2019 (7:30am) – Sunday, June, 9 2019 (11:00am)

Camp Pouch Scout Camp, Staten Island, New York

Check-In on Saturday @ 7:30am; opening ceremony and course instruction begins @ 8:00am.

 

Sign Up Today! To register for ITOLS training, please fill out the form below and submit your registration online. Along with payment, we will need the following information: your name, your address, cell phone number, email address, your unit {Pack or Troop} and unit number, your position in scouting, your Council and District. You will receive a receipt upon payment. Please print it out and bring it with you to Skills Day.
